Having Evolet Home

So I realized after doing my first make up post why I have not been doing this. It's because technology and me do not always agree and it takes a lot of time to get the page how I want. I am sure I will get better though. Here is one of our favorites from the hospital before she was able to come home. Neal and I both put it as our desktops because it was the first picture we got with her eyes open.
She spent her first Christmas at her Great Grandma and Grandpa Minsons and New Years there too. She has gone from taking half formula to almost all breastfeeding with only a few exceptions. Unfortunately I did lose my camera in January so have not taken many new pictures, except by other people. However, Neal gave me my Easter/ Mother's Day present early which was a new camera, so we are excited to use it. So far Evolet is more interactive, has rolled over from her tummy to her back, sleeps in her pack n' play well by herself, and has even had her first laugh. We are enjoying her more and more as we get more sleep!

Catching up

Then Grandma Ruby came to visit, and she her grandchild. We gave Evolet her first sponge bath, and she DID NOT like it. She has done really well since. Some other random pictures of her in our monstrous bean bag and cutie close ups of her.

So we've missed a few years between our first post to this one and I hope to make up for it a little bit. We'll go ahead and just pick up with the events that brought Evolet Makayla into our lives with a few pictures. So we have my belly at 30 weeks and Neal's belly, and then Evolet was born at 33 weeks, a little impatient to get into this world so she came on October 25, 2009 instead of in December. There she is with mom and dad. She was so tiny at 4 lbs 10 oz. and 16 3/4 in long. But she was pretty healthy and only had to spend 2 weeks in the NICU.
